A lot of the leftists really do show there’s an unfortunate overlap that sometimes exist. I’m a social liberal.There’s some parts of socialism that appeal to me, some of capitalism, some of both, and some of neither. I don’t like rigid economics and I don’t care who plays that game.

The whole thing is exactly why I’m wary of the folks who raise classism over all and discard intersectionality as a distraction, because they absolutely tend to dismiss the struggle of folks that are for the most part disconnected from pure economic concerns, or even only tangentially economic but absolutely wouldn’t have happened if not for race, or sexism, or ableism, etc. The burning of any concept of “identity politics” what I’m seeing repeatedly, and it’s galling to see it working, and working, and working.
