favorite video game memory of all time. We got an Atari 5200 for christmas. right at release. it was the New Mysterious Amazing Thing. I was like, I dunno 7 or 8. A bunch of games. I was like YAY! Then I went to a friends house for their christmas dinner. didn’t even have time to set the rig up. Came home that night, my uncle and my dad have a fucking legal pad out, taking notes, arguing with each other about how to dock a starship. Staring at the TV, wires and game crap everywhere, foam and boxes and yow.

because they were playing Star Raiders (which was MINE, that *I* had got for christmas) probably the most bafflingly complicated game ever made for a mainstream game console at the time. Basically a computer game of crazy complexity.

I wish my uncle was still sane and not a psycho dick, he was so much fun

STAR RAIDERS!!! Yeah that game rocked! Someone needs to port that sucker to OS X ;D
