I know, but for D_F consistency is simply maintaining what he’s used to. He’s expressed before an inability to deal with change. It’s easy (and tempting) to attack him over it, I vacillate between exhaustion, pity and anger myself, but at least he’s honest about it and doesn’t pretend to be something he’s not.
