Exactly. I personally don’t feel terrible about Brown going to jail, but I worry about the trumped up hacking charges. The copy/paste thing is a problematic precedent. But acting as the messenger to Stratfor for Hammond does seem like a real crime. (And of course: all the threats and whatnot look like pretty reasonable charges.)

(EDIT: I haven’t gone back over everything to see which charges were dropped, I think the copy/paste related charges were last year.)
