Absolutely! I am not exactly frail, but my a/c went out when the weather was about 90, and the house got up to 86. I survived, but a day later collapsed and was in the hospital. That was just after a couple of hours, with electric fans working! If the power was out for 12 hours, and I didn’t have a dear friend who could locate and replace the starting capacitor at night, I might have died. Shook me to how fragile life is!
