I seriously doubt he gets ten Republicans. They have been trained to be incapable of cooperating on anything.

Plus, one sign of weakness out of Mitch McConnell and he’ll find a metaphorical shiv between his ribs by an even bigger wingnut.

I have no doubt that someone like Sen. Hawley or Sen. Cruz would love to have McConnell’s spot.
