Let’s just force them to actually adopt this. Make the hospitals in Maine check everyone’s citizenship before treating them. Hell, make paramedics. Bleed out before your wife can get your birth certificate to the scene of the accident? Too bad, you might have been an undocumented alien, and we can’t give those people benefits.

Not that I would actually want that, but it is the logical outgrowth of what they want.
