Boston is still the most racist place I’ve ever lived.

It must be thirty years since I read Bill Russell’s autobiography. To paraphrase him regarding Boston: “The racism is blatant. And there are more people there finding more ways to look down on each other than anywhere else I’ve been. Other than that, I like the city.”
