Fair call—but I’d attribute that more to a long-time Minutemen/militia-associated criminal becoming interested in the Tea Party for a time, rather than the Tea Party creating her. That may be a fine distinction, but I’d say she’s anomalous to the TPers, and follows the militia mold much more closely.

I suppose. However, if we interviewed most militia members what parties do you imagine they would associate themselves with, in general?
