I thought Rudy was pretty in-the-middle. Too bad the leftists trashed him. He’s a good man.

Rudy’s loss had nothing to do with “leftists.” He lost because he was not conservative enough for “rightist” primary voters - he is “pro-gay,” he switched his position on guns, and was not trusted on immigration by the right. (Check out some M. Malkin re: Rudy, for example) The left had nothing to do with his loss. In fact, he didn’t try in the early primaries becasue he held out hopes for winning big in Florida - less conservative than Iowa, SC, etc… . By then however, it was too late, he was toast.
