Ironically, it appears that an all consuming fire might well devour the “Evangelical Vatican,” Colorado Springs, because of inadequate fire service, risky building practices and tinder-dry conditions in the surrounding woods and brush.
I lived in Colorado Springs when I was young and for many years I wanted to retire there. I changed these plans after it was invaded and occupied by superstitious nutburgers in the 1990s.
Poor fire service and high fire risk might well be related to the fundy influx since they always bring low tax demands and loose regulation of development with them.
