My dad was a shutter bug, during the years we spent as missionaries traveling and in Iran he took 6000 slides.

The oldest ones where starting to fade, so I scanned them all. Use a Nikon LS4000 scanner with feed adapter, 50 slides at time. Hi Res to archive them 135MB for each image.

I’m slowing cataloguing them.

I did the same thing with my Mom’s photos after she died. We found thousands of them. So many shutterbugs in my family—from back to the dawn of cameras by the looks of some photos. It took me almost a year, but everything is scanned and digital.
