Well, just got back from the Zuccotti Park protests (they’re supposed to be protesting Wall Street or something, but it includes protests for everything from the wars in Afghanistan/Iraq to the pending execution of Troy Davis in GA).

Seems that there’s several hundred people in the protest, and they’re of the “professional protester” sort. Construction workers and tourists who are normally found in the park have a rather bemused look to all this, and so too does the NYPD that has a presence to keep things safe for all involved.
