If you knew how lax our authorities are about the potential terrorists, extremists & other sympathizers living in Canada, you would be horrified. Tough security at the US border would force Canadian gov’t & people to act more responsibly. If there is a terrorist attack on the US, it is as likely to be launched from Canada as from Mexico, perhaps even more so.

Passport and visa please?!
And while we’re at it MR. - do you know where those 3 illegal immigrants from Canada are living in the U.S., eh?
