The cops at officer.com are all taking the “the video doesn’t show everything and besides, the black guy stole the tazer” line.

Apparently, none of them seem to have read that the cop in question provably lied in his report (both on the nature of the shooting as well as giving aid to the victim) and therefore anything he said that justified the shooting (like the allegedly stolen tazer) should be discounted…

Speaking of his taser, if that really is what he moved from the spot where it fell over to Scott’s body, and then put it on his belt, the prosecutor could tack “tampering with evidence” onto the list of charges.
