My perception of Al Franken is more a distaste for his personality and demeanor and is no doubt influenced by the way he acquired his office, its significance in creating the 60 votes, and his personification of a snarky leftist media elite.

If he was a Republican I’d probably like him for all the same reasons. Go figure.

I stated earlier - I found in his former life, he was as harsh as Ann Coulter, who I also do not like, in part for that reason.

But I was very very impressed with his demeanor in that video. I also stated earlier - I’ve worked with politicians, and it’s rare to see one being so open and forthcoming.
