I do not see any terror, fear, or even deep concern on the man’s face as he hold his infant casually, the way you would hold a sweater you aren’t wearing, draped over his arm while thumbing his cell phone. What he is doing with his right arm, which you can’t see in the photo, can’t be determined, but he is standing in a loose, relaxed position. Maybe he is holding a loaded gun? Or his car keys? Or a water bottle? Or nothing at all?

You are deriving a narrative from the photo that is not apparent.

Loose and relaxed? His chest is forward of his center of gravity. There’s motion blur on everything but the man. Left leg is back, right shoulder and arm is back. Inference from the evidence is he’s running.
