My wishy-washy Captain Sensible centrist position: with time the extremism at OWS accumulated to the point where it now more or less represents the movement, since there seem to be no attempts to distance from this extremism (and I don’t mean to say that each OWSer is an extremist or is tainted just by participating). It doesn’t mean that the current extremism at OWS can be used to taint any previous supporters.
