Just finished watching “Avatar,’ taking advantage of the 3 days off in a row I have this week… really decent movie… and come on, conservatives really complained about this? The basic plot has been done a hundred times (nee: Dune, Alien, you know, corporate exploitation of space/science)… if there was anything to complain about, it would be the hack-kneed dialog they wrote (or stole from some cheap WWII movie) for Colonel Miles Quaritch… all of his “make my day” styled rhetoric was getting BORING…

I watched “Avatar” in IMAX 3D. It KICKED ASS. I can’t imagine watching it on DVD, unless you have a screen the side of an entire wall.
