Why? I’m a social moderate, strong on national defense and fighting terrorism, and tired of high taxes and endless government spending. So I had to leave the Democratic Party. What party should I join?

No. My sympathy is for the brush you are painted with, and (I suspect) your growing sense of isolation. I would welcome an opposition led by Crists and Browns, for when we Dems inevitably falter.
