I think it’s cute how people think they can overcome nature.

For example you, Crush. You’re a great debater. You’re smart; armed with facts and passion. You have no problem stomping someone with an argument. Lording over them with your great wisdom and power.

Getting them to flounce or quit posting for the obviously gives you a great sense of achievement. That’s not fair, so, you shouldn’t do that.
