Unfortunately there is the distinct possibility that your voice won’t be heard if you don’t speak before election day. The gains in the midterm election may fuel a greater shift to the right and more alienation of the sane true conservatives.

That’s assuming there are ‘gains’ in the midterm election. If America responds as I think she will (rejecting xenophobia, fear, and bigotry), then there’s a good chance the balance will remain the same, except in the Senate, where there’s now a small chance the Democrats can actually gain a seat or two.

Anyone who sees that as a mandate for more wing-nuttery is huffing spray paint (though that could explain Boehner’s orange visage).
