I think Ellison is a great writer, even if his personality makes me run madly in another direction until I pinball off something else and carom off in yet another direction still.

Yes, he’s a very creative writer and he did also help start the SF writing career of a fine fellow from a fine old Virginia family, Arthur Cover.
