“We have been called out to the residence before for a wide range of things,” said Schultz at a Thursday evening press conference.
Spirit, according to Schultz, had a criminal history and pleaded guilty to a 2003 felony arms violation. According to the Orlando Sentinel, Spirit was sentenced to three years in prison for the violation, stemming from a hunting accident in which his son was shot to death.
He says Spirit is the only suspect and that some people were left alive at the home.
