As the son of a police officer, I’m particularly concerned for the safety of Cleveland PD rank and file, and for the Secret Service. Yahoo Trump supporters who show up armed….they can go the way of Ammon Bundy’s crew for all I care.

I have had some contact with some folks up in Cleveland. I have a niece and some friends there. I am hearing the police are fearful they really do not have the manpower and the equipment for all this. They also say they hear that all kinds of various groups are planning to show up in protest.

I am thinking Kasich will soon be planning for the Ohio National Guard to be in place.

If they are watching what is going on in California these last two days, they have got to understand it is going to be nuts in downtown Cleveland.
