It would be irresponsible not to speculate…

What would be a problem is spokesliar Kellyanne Conway so brazenly lied about something so easily debunked, and did it on television. Moreover, that sounded planned: Who the heck would make up a story like that off the cuff?

It almost sounds like either A) trying to deflect attention from the failed Yemeni raid, B) trying to create justification for deporting refugees (or worse) particularly after the Muslim Ban and disastrous phone call with Australian PM Malcolm Turnbull, and C) Press liar Sean Spicer with another totally fabricated story about an Iranian missile attack on a US Navy ship (also debunked immediately).

It would appear they are seeking justification for their immigrant/refugee ban and a war with Iran simultaneously.
