Considering it is DC I am not surprised with the kookery.

I was in DC when they had their Democratic Presidential Primary last time around. I was utterly depressed with the abandon with which Obama was regarded by they people who administer this nation’s affairs. Blind adoration for someone who was only a symbol. No experience necessary.

That is what makes up your federal government, and there is so much “progressive” momentum within the government that the only policy set that will change its course is one that has massive layoffs at its core.
