Neo-Nazi sentenced for threats

A Virginia neo-Nazi group’s leader was sentenced to 30 months in prison for threatening people on his Web site, by e-mail and telephone calls, officials say.

William A. White, 32, of Roanoke, received a term at the upper end of federal sentencing guidelines determined by U.S. District Judge James Turk, The Roanoke Times reported Wednesday.

The judge said he based the sentence on the level of fear White instilled in many of his victims.
