Not true.
1) It was probably in the grandparents interest to declare him born in Hawaii. They only needed to phone in the birth announcement. This would have nothing to do with any possibility that he could someday be President.

2) The State of Hawaii did not disclose the actual contents of the original birth certificate nor did they produce a copy of the original to the media. This is because Obama would not give them permission to do so. Which begs the question- Why?
