If you are correct - and I truly believe you are not - how can you be sure that your American Hitler will not be a Democrat?

Because it requires an unholy combination of mythical nationalism, anger at feeling oppressed when you “should be the master,” fear of the “other,” religious intensity and a desire to punish those perceived as taking that mythical nation from the common person who is just ed up and “going to take it back.”

That is the central nazi message.

It is also the central message of Stalin and Mao and to some extent, Ceasar.

The Dems are not giving that message.

I also did not say that we would have an “American Hitler.” We are not there yet. I said that were are hearing the same message and the same patterns of the early days of the Reich are happening here. Remember the Nazis started out small, as a fringe group.
