For the scientists and mathematicians among us, I’d like to share my next vacation spot: Mandelbrot Island.

It’s a cozy little country with a finite area but an infinite periphery. Perfect for undersea macrophotography, and the fish is excellent.

Please let me know if you’d like to come with. My planned departure date is the Greek Kalends or when Saudi Arabia builds a synagogue for Jewish visitors, whichever comes first.

I’ve met Madlebrot many times. He is very charming.
