I recommend you try some NM green chiles…you can use them in just about any dish for a unique, fresh flavor

On my way back on the bus from Cimarron to Albuquerque to catch my plane home Saturday, we stopped at the Rio Grande Gorge Bridge outside Taos. There were a bunch of vendors set up by the road there at the end of the bridge, including a nice couple that sold me the best glass of fresh-squeezed lemonade I’ve ever had. However, the purchase I’m most stoked about is a bag of fresh NM medium chile spice mix for five bucks; it smells heavenly and I can’t wait to make some chili with it.

FYI: Props to the Taos Inn and Doc Martin’s Restaurant…damn tasty green chile bacon cheeseburger and fries.
