One reason the Trumpites are being defeated is that they will predictably turn on each under the slightest pressure. For instance, GOP pundits instantly responded to the Capitol riots by trying to blame “antifa.” This is Judas level treachery. The rioters were in fact the only members of their miserable movement who had the guts to take action and their reward from fellow Trumpites is to be disowned and vilified as lefty terrorists.

There are shades of Watergate in this: “Who first suggested that you sell out the insurrectionists by claiming they were antifa?”
“Actually, nobody ever suggested that we should not sell them out.”

It’s classic GOP.
