Of course. There are racists in the Democratic party as well. Racism is proportional to ignorance. Neither party has a monopoly on that.

This is true, but the difference between the Democrats and the GOP on this is the Democrats have traditionally been more apt (at least since the 60s) to sideline the whackos and nuts from any real power.
