Right. Also the KPD called the SPD the Social Fascists even though the SPD were one of the most consistent enemies of the NSDAP. You’re right. Wingnuts say socialist, they’re trying to invoke images of Stalin/Gulags and also Mao Zedong too. By the way the differences within these socialist movements is something that’s always fascinated me. Same thing with fascism.
