:) Shaun of the Dead is lots of fun.

28 Days does a pretty good job of being scary during the first half or so. The characters are great — for once, I was actually rooting for all of them (that scene with the little girl’s father is pretty despairing). The end of the movie is darkly comical, though. All hell breaking loose, a rogue zombie in the compound, the mirror scene, etc.

I say this a bit reticently, but 28 Days is probably the best “biological zombie” movie ever made. The progression of the outbreak is fairly realistic too (why is it that there are so few movies where the zombies actually starve to death?).

When have you heard of a corpse starving to death?
