I’m sure you are completely correct, and I don’t want to second guess a politician as experienced as Nancy Pelosi. I am sure she is doing the right thing.
But the idea of “Hi! I am new here! You better satisfy my demands!” rubbed me the wrongest way, enough that I did not take into account the need for various constituent-satisfying displays.
“Get rid of Pelosi! New blood!” usually does makes me see red!
