Did anyone realistically expect to find any parts of OBL when we were dropping “Daisy Cutters” and enough ordinance to obliterate a couple of New England states on his caves in Tora Bora? Not even Grissom on CSI or Gibbs on NCIS could have confirmed or denied whether OBL was alive or dead since he was probably either essentially vaporized if in the open or buried deep in the earth if hunkered in his bunker. The big benefit to this is he can never be a martyr, has no grave for the “true believers” to rally around, and the POTUS doesn’t have to apologize for the US killing him (Okay the last bit is a wee bit sarcastic, but still accurate.)
