I don’t understand this obsession with Putin. Equally perplexing is the obsession with Anna Chapman. Apparently some Americans didn’t get the memo which goes like this: Putin and Chapman are the “bad guys”. Chapman especially was spying on the USA. It’s very confusing.

I think it ties in with the Wingnut/Paulian obsession with Russia Today as well. They want to see America’s enemies appear cool and strong while painting Obama as weak and dorky. It was outrageous when Rush first said he wants Obama to fail but now it’s mainstream conservative thought.
