No he didn’t. I didn’t say he did. I said I would be uncomfortable doing it. And it wasn’t out of the blue, it followed along a previous conversation - or am I no longer allowed to engage in a conversation and express an opinion, unless it’s to support the idea du jour? WTF?

How am I shouting anyone down, Reine? I get annoyed by the automatic citation of huffpo as a rejoinder to the large tide of racism in right-wing media. I express that.

How is that wrong?

And I get annoyed at the automatic let’s ignore what goes on elsewhere because it’s NOT AS BAD. As far as I’m concerned, it’s ugly wherever it’s found. If NJD wants to point it out as a bit of perspective that neither “side” is 100% pure, what’s it to ya? Or is that thought just a bit uncomfortable?
