Would somebody like to point out to Mr. Kyl that it was statements like his own, early into the committe’s work, declaring a refusal to consider defense cuts in the final proposal, that might have sunk any chances of coming to an agreement?

That would require real personal responsibility not the kind when a child of privilege like Kyl tells poor people they need it.
