Lauten is a vile asshole. She exemplifies the modern GOP/conservative cult in that being an asshole is a positive trait. She wanted to attack and smear the children of the POTUS because she was positive it would gain her credibility among societies’ lowest common denominator, i.e., the GOP base. I seriously hope she loses her job.
