Easily. I’ve never felt that Trump at all is a representative let alone a believer of democracy and freedom of political thought. I think he seriously is in awe of how men like Kim, Putin, Erdogan, & others are received and then he sees how he is when he’s not able to dominate the narrative.

He craves respect, attention, and power. He sees that men like those get as much of those three things as they could possibly desire. Inasmuch as he wanted to be President, it was because he thought he could get those things.
