This situation is as clear as can be. There is little doubt about motives and none about actions and decisions made. The saddest thing is each misstep hurts women in very fundamental way. The pink ribbon has a stain that will not easily wash out.

I’m not sure this is a bad thing, really. I’m not all that convinced it had much value anymore. Too much of the focus as been on “awareness” and not enough on treatment, prevention, or any of the many other health issues women have.
