I didn’t much care for Reagan, especially after he basically evicted all the mentally ill people who were just too expensive to care for, but he did appear to have some desire to do something for the country, and he didn’t seem to me to be crazy (we’ll leave off the last couple of years of his presidency when he was starting to slip into Alzheimer’s). Maybe you’re right…the desire for power can corrupt thought beyond expectations.
