Most of the Religious Right in the US is going to vote for Trump in November.

I would definitely reconsider my atheism if this obvious sacrilege were to provoke a few biblical smitings of the most egregious offenders.

Hell, if Pat Roberson were vaporized in mid-rant on live TV by lightning from a clear sky, leaving only smoking shoes behind, I’d immediately take a vow of poverty and happily live the rest of my days in a monastery contemplating this wonderful vision.

Setting your sights too low, man. Vaporizing just one Christian fascist isn’t nearly enough. I’d want to see a great many clouds of smoke to ensure it wasn’t a fluke.
