While we were raiding the Pit Sox’s Pirates pantry, we should’ve taken Ryan Doumit as well. Just as versatile as Martinez (1B/C/DH- altho’ the last one’s a little rare for an NL player) but much younger. Seems like the Pirates let everybody but go Doumit this month…

Oh totally agree! And as far as the Papi thing…we had to expect it…it was obvious when Manny was suspended. What a shame. What a stupid shame.
