Oh, she had a large photo poster in her room that was a photo of palestian refugees with a drawing of Christ on the cross superimposed over the photo. The bottom of the cross was a jagged edge dagger dripping with blood.
She had me meet her with a friend in her room just the one time to make sure I saw it.
Pretty darn far from middle america, for damn sure.
