Wow, we’ve had almost 1500 clicks on the Twitter link for Gus’s post on the HuffPo CEO’s donations to the Romney campaign:

You never know which story’s going to suddenly take off. This one obviously hit a nerve with HuffPo’s recent turn toward Obama-bashing.

I noticed that Politico now has a note to readers asking them to let them know if they notice any media-related campaign contributions. I don’t remember seeing that when they originally posted the story.

A NOTE TO READERS: Many media executives make campaign contributions that they are not expected to disclose when their network or newspaper interviews a candidate. (I.e., the Huffington Post didn’t do anything out of the ordinary here.) But those contributions and their potential consequences are of great interest here at the intersection of media and politics, and will continue to be reported on. So if you’ve noticed any media-related campaign contributions you think warrant mention, please send them over.
