There’s isn’t a claim that either side is 100% pure. Nobody thinks that. Nobody ever suggests that. I don’t find that a bit of perspective. I find it an attempt at false equivalence, and I call it such.

That’s what it is to me.

Who are you talking to, Reine? Is it some stereotype, or is it me? I’m happy to acknowledge the racism on the Democratic side, or the ‘liberal’ side. I’ve talked about it at length, about the deep racism of Boston, an entrenched liberal/Democratic city.

So why on earth would you think I’d be ‘uncomfortable’ with being shown racism stemming from the ‘left’?

And I have always acknowledged the ugly things about the right, about the tea parties, about the Catholic Church, other things dear to me.

It does not mean I’m going to get pissed off at somebody for pointing out something else.
